ELIAS  ZAIKOS - BETWEEN SPIRIT AND TIME 2000.

Ilias Zaikos appeared on the music scene in 1983, forming in Thessaloniki, together with a group of blues crazy people, initially the Blues Gang together with Leonidas Stamatiadis, Nondas Erkekoglou, Sotiris Zisi, recording two big albums and a mini LP. 

In 1986 he formed the Blues Wire: George Bandook Apostolakis, George Dimitriadis, Nikos Dounousis, Sotiris Zisis, Alexandros Apostolakis.

Is known abroad, not only from the participation in blues festivals, but also because of their very successful participation on stage with great names of which they were the support band when they appeared in Greece: Louisiana Red, Big Time Sarah, John Hammond, Angela Brown , Lurrie Bell et al. They have also opened concerts for Buddy Guy, John Mayall, Albert King, Otis Rush, Fabulous Thunderbirds.
