MICK JAGGER and the RED DEVILS - THE FAMOUS BLUES SESSION 1992.
Mick Jagger had that very idea of a blues recording 20 years ago, way back in 1992, when he recorded a live session with L.A. blues band, The Red Devils, who were recommended to him by producer Rick Rubin. These recordings took place in Hollywood during a single, 13-hour session, with little rehearsal and no overdubs, and, as you’ll hear, the emphasis is on straight up Chicago blues.
